The Blockbuster Dadumentary:

Creating a memorable legacy video doesn’t have to break the bank. It’s not an Oscar-winning doccie—it’s something special the whole family can cherish. Try and get everyone involved, from planning to interviewing – this brings the family together and adds an element of fun to the experience. Consider using a tripod or phone stand to get a steady shot. When it’s shoot day, move around the furniture to create the atmosphere you want, choose a well-lit spot, set up your phone & tripod and hit record.

Pork Tenderloin Extravaganza:

This recipe is a winner, with two flavour options to suit your preference. Choose Soweto Smokey Garlic for that delicious umami or Soweto Chilli Lime for a zestier zang.

Serves 4

Pork Tenderloin A Father's Day Feast and Legacy Video Extravaganza

Pork Tenderloin Ingredients:

1 kg Pork tenderloin
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Juice of 1 lemon
Soweto Smokey Garlic Hot Sauce or Soweto Chilli Lime Hot Sauce (adjust according to your preferred spice level)

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, and your desired amount of Soweto Smokey Garlic Hot Sauce or Soweto Chilli Lime Hot Sauce until well combined.
  2. Place the pork tenderloin in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
  3. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is fully coated. If using a plastic bag, seal it tightly, removing excess air.
  4. Allow the pork tenderloin to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, to let the flavour infuse the meat.
  5. When you’re ready to cook, preheat your grill, oven, or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
  6. Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
  7. Cook the pork tenderloin until it reaches an internal temperature of 63°C for medium-rare or 71°C for medium, using a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
  8. Let the cooked pork tenderloin rest for a few minutes before slicing it into medallions and serving.
  9. Complete your culinary masterpiece by serving it alongside Dad’s favourite starch and vegetables.
